In 1998, four years into Democracy, the Chohan Family recognized the need for Pure Authentic Spice in the Northern Cape. Consumers had to travel far and wide to add a spicy unique flavor to their meals.

In September 1998, Kitchen Warehouse opened its doors in the Northern Cape capital, Kimberley. Our Pure Authentic Spices brought delight, excitement and enjoyment to both the novice and professional cooks. Within a few months we were commonly known as "Durban Spices at Durban Prices".

A few quick years passed and consumer demand motivated us to diversify into Baking Products and Essentials, Rice, Marinades etc.

10 years later, in 2008 as our Retail and Wholesale Business increased and expanded outside the Northern Cape, we restructured our retail division and hence the birth of Spiceworx - ' The Spice that Works'.

Our Mission at Spiceworx is to serve and satisfy our loyal Consumers with an Authentic, Quality Assured, Value Added Unique Flavor in every meal. We are also committed to a continuous and positive relationship with all our Stakeholders in improving the lives of all South Africans.
